Tour Packaging Workshop in Syracuse Huge Success
|

 Two-part Tour Packaging Workshop held
in Syracuse
The Everson Museum of Art in downtown Syracuse was the location of THG's first workshop series of 2009. The packaging workshop held in conjunction with the Syracuse CVB and in anticipation of the upcoming "Turner to Cezanne" (see more below) exhibition to be held beginning in October at the Everson was presented in two parts to over sixty participants. The initial segment focused on how to create a package following the five rules of packaging: Responsibility, Contracting, Costing, Vouchers and Commissions. The second half reviewed marketing and selling of packages and then the creation of potential packages for actual sale. Syracuse, Skaneateles and various other communities along with myriad attractions in Onondaga County participated. The packages created will be offered for sale in conjunction with the Everson Exhibition that runs from October 9 to January 3, 2010 and includes over fifty extraordinary works of art - never before seen in the United States.

Masterpiece Collection Exhibition Opening in Syracuse October 9

 First time exhibition in United States visits Syracuse Turner to Cezanne: Masterpieces From Davies Collection, National Museum Wales opens at the Everson Museum of Art October 9 and will run through January 3, 2010. This one-of-a-kind exhibition features over 50 extraordinary works of art - never before seen in the United States! Thirty artists are featured including, Cezanne, Corot, Van Gogh, Monet, Daumier, Manet, Millet, Pissaro, Renoir and Turner. THE HERZIG GROUP, in conjunction with the Syracuse CVB, is packaging the Exhibition along with other cultural heritage attractions in Syracuse/Onondaga County, both for independent leisure visitors and pre-formed groups.
